| 3) Why are your packages so much cheaper than other companies? |
To be quite honest, we simply do not know. We have many of the same suppliers as our competitors, yet our prices are significantly lower. Maybe it's the overhead. We order from major mills across the United States and Canada, so we don't have to stock pile a lot of material. Maybe it's because we don't have a major advertising budget. That's why you don't see us on billboards and magazines. We simply would rather pass the savings on to the customer. Perhaps we should ask them why they are so much more expensive.
|
| 4) What is included in your "Complete Home Package"? |
Our package consists of all the logs, second floor system, roof system, including the tongue and groove decking and the matching log siding.

| 5) Can you work from house plans other than those offered by you? |
We can quote and work from any house plan that our customers submit to us, even if it is a hand drawing of your own!

| 6) What kind of wood is used in your log homes, is it kiln dried? |
Our log packages consist of Eastern White Pine logs, beams and matching log siding. Our 2 x 6 tongue and groove decking for the second floor, as well as the roof system is Engleman Spruce Select Decking. These are the most common types of species in the industry, however other species are available at an additional cost. All of our logs are kiln dried, as well as the tongue and groove decking and the matching log siding. The beams are air dried, but can be kiln dried for an additional cost

| 7) Why aren't doors and windows, as well as framing materials included in your packages? |
Simply put, you don't need to buy them from a log home company. You can submit your plans to local home improvement centers [Lowe's, Home Depot, etc] and they can calculate how much framing material, as well as pressure treated lumber you will need and give you a much lower price. As for doors and windows, remember this is your home. You should be able to decide what kind of doors and windows go into your home. By doing a little legwork, you can save thousands of dollars.
|
| 8) When I place an order, how long does it take for delivery? |
Once an order is placed, it usually takes 4-6 weeks for delivery.
|
| 9) What are the shipping costs, and what is the customer's responsibility?
|

The customer is also responsible for an accessible job site. If delivery cannot be made to the actual job site, other arrangements must be made.
|
| 10) What is your payment schedule? |
A 25% deposit is due at the time of placing an order or contract signing. The remainder of the balance is due in full at time of delivery
